<lb ed="#L" n="93"/>CIRCA distinctionem istam quaeritur de duobus.
<lb ed="#L" n="94"/>Primum est de vsu huius sacramenti. Secundum
<lb ed="#L" n="95"/>est de vtentibus. Circa primum quaeruntur duo.
<lb ed="#L" n="96"/>Primum est vtrum sint duo modi manducandi
<lb ed="#L" n="97"/>d hoc sacramentum. Secundum est vtrum
manduca<lb ed="#L" n="98" break="no"/>tio huius sacramenti sit de necessitate salutis. Ad primum sic
<lb ed="#L" n="99"/>proceditur. Et arguitur quod non sint duo modi manducandi hoc
<lb ed="#L" n="100"/>sacramentum, quia sicut baptismus est spiritualis regeneratio

<lb ed="#L" n="117"/>Quantum ad primum dicendum est quo propriusvsus huius
sa<lb ed="#L" n="118" break="no"/>cramenti est manducatio, quod patet, primo quia vsus huius sacra
<lb ed="#L" n="119"/>menti est secundum conditionem materiae, sed materia huius
sa<lb ed="#L" n="120" break="no"/>cramenti sunt res sensibiles directe pertinentes ad cibum & potum
<lb ed="#L" n="121"/>sed vsus proprius talium est manducatio, ergo &c. Secundo, quia
<lb ed="#L" n="122"/>sicut hoc sacramentum in quo Christus continetur secundum
se<lb ed="#L" n="123" break="no"/>ipsum est perfectius caeteris in quibus continetur solum secundum
effe<lb ed="#L" n="124" break="no"/>ctum, sic applicatio huius sacramenti ad nos & eius vsus debet esse
<lb ed="#L" n="125"/>per modum perfectionis vnionis & applicationis, sed non vniretur
<lb ed="#L" n="126"/>nobis, nec applicaretur perfectius quam alia nisi eius vsus esset in
ma<lb ed="#L" n="127" break="no"/>ducando, ergo proprius eius vsus est mandueatio. Minor
proba<lb ed="#L" n="128" break="no"/>tur, quia applicatione quae est secundum contractum nulla est
per<lb ed="#L" n="129" break="no"/>fectior nisi secundum gustum, per quam gustans & gustatu
effi<lb ed="#L" n="130" break="no"/>ciuntur vnum, sed alia sacramenta nobis applicantur secundum
<lb ed="#L" n="131"/>contractum, vt patet in baptismo, confirmatione, ordine &
ex<lb ed="#L" n="132" break="no"/>trema vnctione, ergo hoc sacramentum perfectiori applicationi
<lb ed="#L" n="133"/>(scilicet quae est secundum gustum) debet applicari. Item

susci<lb ed="#L" n="139" break="no"/>pientium. Secundo ex modo sumendi. Ex parte suscipientium sic.

<lb ed="#L" n="12"/>voto & desiderio percipiunt, sed ab actuali perceptione
impe<lb ed="#L" n="13" break="no"/>diuntur sicut illi qui capti sunt in carceribus Gentilium, vel qu
<lb ed="#L" n="14"/>ex debilitate seu infirmitate vti sacramento non possunt. Appa

<lb ed="#L" n="18"/>ptismum potest fieri omnino similis distinctio, vt patet volent
<lb ed="#L" n="19"/>deducere. Quidam enim abluuntur spiritualiter, quidam sacra
<lb ed="#L" n="20"/>mentaliter, siue hi modi sumantur ex parte suscipientium
ba<lb ed="#L" n="21" break="no"/>ptisinum, siue ex parte modi suscipiendi, vt dictum est.

<!--11--> Ad secundum dicendum, quod non est simile de
manduca<lb ed="#L" n="23" break="no"/>tione corporalis cibi, quia fructus eius non potest percipi ex so
<lb ed="#L" n="24"/>lo voto vel desiderio sicut est in spirituali cibo. Et iterum nulla
<lb ed="#L" n="25"/>dispositio praecedens requiritur in suscipiente corporalem
ci<lb ed="#L" n="26" break="no"/>bum ad percipiendum fructum eius nisi naturalis virtus, sicut
<lb ed="#L" n="27"/>requiritur in recipiente cibum spiritualem. Et ideo cibum
cor<lb ed="#L" n="28" break="no"/>poralem non contingit manducare nisi corporaliter.
Spirituali<lb ed="#L" n="29" break="no"/>ter autem cibus proponitur in sacramento sub velamine rerum
<lb ed="#L" n="30"/>corporalium ratione cuius praeter manducationem
spiritua<lb ed="#L" n="31" break="no"/>lem quae competit ei secundum se contingit ei vlterius
mandu<lb ed="#L" n="32" break="no"/>cari sacramentaliter sub tali velamine.
