<lb ed="#V" n="135"/>hominis quam rationale potest abstrahi a rationali: ergo videtur quod

<lb ed="#V" n="3"/>hypostasis que relatiue dicitur: est aliquid excepta illa
rela<lb ed="#V" n="4" break="no"/>tione. Cum ergo hypostasis diuina relatiue dicatur: ipsa
<lb ed="#V" n="5"/>est aliqua res preter illam reminationem. Potest ergo

¶ Item hypostasis in diuinis videtur esse
<lb ed="#V" n="10"/>ipsa proprietas vt in se subsistens: quia in diuinis non videtur
<lb ed="#V" n="11"/>esse nisi essentia et proprietas: sed proprietas non potest abstrahi
<lb ed="#V" n="12"/>a se ipsa: ergo nec hypostasis potest abstrahi a proprietate

<lb ed="#V" n="13"/>Respondeo quia de ista quaestione sunt opiniones. Dicunt
<lb ed="#V" n="14"/>enim quidam quod hypostasis per intellectum
<lb ed="#V" n="15"/>potest abstrahi a relatiua proprietate: quia abstrahere per
intelle<lb ed="#V" n="16" break="no"/>ctum est plurium realiter non separatorum: vnum intelligere non
<lb ed="#V" n="17"/>intelligendo aliud vel alia cum ergo hypostasis et
proprie<lb ed="#V" n="18" break="no"/>tas in diuinis realiter non separentur nec differant: et
pos<lb ed="#V" n="19" break="no"/>sumus intelligere hypostasim non intellecta relatiua
proprie<lb ed="#V" n="20" break="no"/>tate: eo quod secundum rationem differunt: et talium possumus vnum
in<lb ed="#V" n="21" break="no"/>telligere alio non intellecto. vnde possumus intelligere
di<lb ed="#V" n="22" break="no"/>uinam essentiam non intelligendo eius scientiam: sequitur quod per in
<lb ed="#V" n="23"/>tellectum vt ipsi dicunt possumus abstrahere hypostasim in
<lb ed="#V" n="24"/>diuinis a relatiua proprietate.

¶ Alii autem dicunt contrarium quia
<lb ed="#V" n="25"/>hypostasis intellecta vt est intellectualis nature vel
rationa<lb ed="#V" n="26" break="no"/>lis non potest abstrahi a ratione personalitatis. Sed intelligendo
<lb ed="#V" n="27"/>hypostasim diuinam intelligimus ipsam vt est
intellectua<lb ed="#V" n="28" break="no"/>lis nature ergo diuina hypostasis non potest per intellectum
<lb ed="#V" n="29"/>abstrahia personalitate: sed persona in diuinis non potest
<lb ed="#V" n="30"/>abstrahi a relatiua proprietate que est persone constitutia. ergo
<lb ed="#V" n="31"/>nec hypostasis diuina.

¶ Pro hac opinione videtur facere
<lb ed="#V" n="32"/>quod dicit Boe. in lib. de trini. c. x. vbi dicit quod substantia continet
<lb ed="#V" n="33"/>vnitatem: relatio multiplicat trinitatem. In diuinis: ergo
<lb ed="#V" n="34"/>non est nisi substantia et relatio ergo non intellectis relationibus in
<lb ed="#V" n="35"/>diuinis nihil remanet nisi essentia.
</p>

¶ Preterea si
hypo<lb ed="#V" n="36" break="no"/>stasis patris posset intelligi non intellecta paternitate: pari ratione
<lb ed="#V" n="37"/>hypostasis filii posset intelligi non intellecta filiatione: et
<lb ed="#V" n="38"/>hypostasis sptus sancti non intellecta passiua spiratione: et
<lb ed="#V" n="39"/>sic non intellectis proprietatibus relatiuis in diuinis
rema<lb ed="#V" n="40" break="no"/>nerent tres distincti: et sic videtur quod vere posset
intelligi<lb ed="#V" n="41" break="no"/>distinctio in diuinis in aliquo absoluto quod diuine simplici est
<lb ed="#V" n="42"/>tati repugnare videtur.

¶ Secundum illos qui tenent primam
opi<lb ed="#V" n="43" break="no"/>nionem potest responderi ad argumenta que sunt contra
<lb ed="#V" n="44"/>eam per modum qui sequitur.
</p>

<lb ed="#V" n="45"/>Ad primum cum dicitur quod omnis abstractio sit a
concre<lb ed="#V" n="46" break="no"/>to etc. Dico quod quando est abstractio per
intel<lb ed="#V" n="47" break="no"/>lectum sufficit quod siat a concreto secundum apprehensionem
intel<lb ed="#V" n="48" break="no"/>lectus: quamuis aut pater non sit quid concretum in re: tamen
di<lb ed="#V" n="49" break="no"/>cit concretum in apprehensione nostri intellectus. Unde et alium
<lb ed="#V" n="50"/>conceptum facit de patre vt est hypostasis: et alium de
paterni<lb ed="#V" n="51" break="no"/>tate vt est habitudo.

¶ Ad 2m cum dicitur quod proprietas non
<lb ed="#V" n="52"/>potest abstrahi a seipsa etc. dico quod quamuis proprietas: vt in se
exi<lb ed="#V" n="53" break="no"/>stens sit hypostasis et persona tamen sub alia ratione est
hypo<lb ed="#V" n="54" break="no"/>stasis et relatiua proprietas. Est enim hypostasis vt in se
exi<lb ed="#V" n="55" break="no"/>stens in natura intellectuali et relatiua proprietas inquantum
<lb ed="#V" n="56"/>per ipsam: hypostasis se habet ad alium: et ideo potest intelligi ipsa
<lb ed="#V" n="57"/>proprietas sub ratione qua hypostasis absque hoc quod intelligatur
sub<lb ed="#V" n="58" break="no"/>ratione qua relatiua proprietas.

¶ Qui vult tenere secundam
<lb ed="#V" n="59"/>opinionem que mihi magis videtur concordare divine
simpli<lb ed="#V" n="60" break="no"/>citari potest respondere ad argumenta que sunt contra eam.

<lb ed="#V" n="61"/>Ad primum cum dicitur quod hypostasis significat rem
ma<lb ed="#V" n="62" break="no"/>gis communem quam proprietas relatiua etc.
Di<lb ed="#V" n="63" break="no"/>co quod non est verum in diuinis: quia omnis hypostasis in divinis est
<lb ed="#V" n="64"/>proprietas relatiua vt in se existens.

¶ Ad 2m cum dicitur quod
hy<lb ed="#V" n="65" break="no"/>postasis potest significari sine proprietate relatiua etc. Dico quod
<lb ed="#V" n="66"/>falsum est de hypostasi diuina: cum talis hypostasis sit ipsa
<lb ed="#V" n="67"/>relatiua proprietas vt in se existens.

¶ Ad 3m cum dicitur quod
<lb ed="#V" n="68"/>illud quodprius ponitur in diffinitione alicuius potest per intelle¬

<lb ed="#V" n="69"/>ctum abstrahi ab eo quod secundo ponitur indiffinitione: dico
<lb ed="#V" n="70"/>quod verum est. Sed cum dicimus quod persona est hypostasis
di<lb ed="#V" n="71" break="no"/>stincta relatima proprietate: non est ista diffinitio persone eo modo
<lb ed="#V" n="72"/>quo sibi competit diffiniri: sed hec persona est hypostasis
in<lb ed="#V" n="73" break="no"/>tellectualis: vel rationalis nature distincta proprietate ad
di<lb ed="#V" n="74" break="no"/>gnitatem pertinente. Istud autem totum distincta
proprieta<lb ed="#V" n="75" break="no"/>te ad dignitatem pertinente non est nisi explicatio huius
<lb ed="#V" n="76"/>quod est intellectualis nature. Eo enim ipso quo hypostasis est
<lb ed="#V" n="77"/>in intellectuali natura: habet rationem persone. Unde sicut de
ra<lb ed="#V" n="78" break="no"/>tione diuine persone est proprietas pertinens ad dignitatem: ita
<lb ed="#V" n="79"/>de ratione hypostasis vt est in natura diuina est proprietas
per<lb ed="#V" n="80" break="no"/>tinens ad dignitatem

¶ Ad 4m cum dicitur quod omnis essentia quae
<lb ed="#V" n="81"/>relatiue dicitur: est aliquid excepto relatiuo etc. dico quod
in<lb ed="#V" n="82" break="no"/>tentio Aug. est per hoc declarare quod diuina persona dicit aliquam
<lb ed="#V" n="83"/>essentiam cum ipsa relatione volens dicere quod pater non
<lb ed="#V" n="84"/>tantummodo dicitur ad filium: et econuerso et vterque ad spiritum.
<lb ed="#V" n="85"/>sanctum: et econuerso sed etiam de quolibet ipsorum dicitur
<lb ed="#V" n="86"/>aliquid absolutum scilicet diuina essentia.

<lb ed="#V" n="88"/>querebatur. Secundum enim primam
<lb ed="#V" n="89"/>opinionem circumscriptis omnibus proprietatibus
relati<lb ed="#V" n="90" break="no"/>uis per intellectum remanerent hypostases
distin<lb ed="#V" n="91" break="no"/>cte seipsis: sicut enim circunscripta per intellectum
paternita<lb ed="#V" n="92" break="no"/>te remaneret hypostasis patris: quamuis non sub ratione qua
<lb ed="#V" n="93"/>pater pari ratione circunscripta filiatione remaneret

¶ Secundum autem aliam opinio
<lb ed="#V" n="97"/>nem que magis diuine simplicitati concordat circuscriptis
<lb ed="#V" n="98"/>omnibus proprietatibus relatiuis per intellectum non remanerent
<lb ed="#V" n="99"/>hypostases distincte: quia nec remaneret aliqua hypostasis:
<lb ed="#V" n="100"/>sed tantummodo diuina essentia circunscriptis tamen per
intel<lb ed="#V" n="101" break="no"/>tellectum proprietatibus non personalibus vt in nascibilitate
<lb ed="#V" n="102"/>et communi actiua spiratione remanentibus paternitate et si
<lb ed="#V" n="103"/>liatione adhuc remaneret distinctio inter patrem et filium.
