<lb ed="#V" n="10"/>maeria pro statu sue creationis dicta est terra: ibi in
<lb ed="#V" n="11"/>principio creauit deus caelum et terram: dicta est etiam
<lb ed="#V" n="12"/>abyssus ibi in tenebre erant super faciem abyssi. Dicta
<lb ed="#V" n="13"/>est etiam aque ibi et spiritus domini serebatur super aquas. Nomine
<lb ed="#V" n="14"/>terre nominatur: quia in ipsa stabiliter forma vt in fundamen
<lb ed="#V" n="15"/>to. Nomine abyssi: cuia materiam de se dicit quid in
completissi<lb ed="#V" n="16" break="no"/>mum: et forma dicit quid magis completum et actuale: et ideo
<lb ed="#V" n="17"/>forma comparatur luci per quandam similitudinem: et materia
<lb ed="#V" n="18"/>abysso tenebrose. Nominatur autem nomine aque: quia

Ue<lb ed="#V" n="22" break="no"/>rum est formaliter et in recto: quia tamen absentia lucis non est
<lb ed="#V" n="23"/>tenebra nisi in subiecto illuminabili: ideo ex consequenti
<lb ed="#V" n="24"/>et in obliquo importat aliquid positiuum: ratione cuius
dicun<lb ed="#V" n="25" break="no"/>tur benedicere domino. Sic enim accipiuntur pro
illumi<lb ed="#V" n="26" break="no"/>nabili non illuminato: nondum lucis gratia deus opus suum
