unitatis, sic quidditas unitatis, in quantum

<lb ed="#Q"/>Est enim multitudo absoluta, quae ponit plurali<lb ed="#Q"/>tatem<!--q-->,
sed non excessum: et hoc modo multi<lb ed="#Q"/>titudo
est opposita unitati, non oppositione quae
<lb ed="#Q"/>sit aliqua illarum quatuor, sed oppositione dispa<lb ed="#Q"/>rationis
qua aliquid, quod est de principio, oppo<lb ed="#Q"/>nitur
suis principiis ex quibus perficitur. Et hoc
<lb ed="#Q"/>dicit <name ref="#Dionysius">B. Dionysius</name><!--7--> quod <quote>non est multi<lb ed="#Q"/>tudo,
quae non participet uno</quote>. Alio modo dicit
<lb ed="#Q"/>multitudo pluralitatem excedentem: et secundum
<lb ed="#Q"/>hoc multitudo opponitur paucitati oppositione re<lb ed="#Q"/>lationis;
sed paucitas dicitur respectu parvi nu<lb ed="#Q"/>meri
et multitudo respectu magni sive excedentis.
