quod plura aliqua ab aeterno</mentioned>. Cum ergo

quod, cum dicit <name>Augustinus</name> quod <quote>tres
<lb ed="#Q"/>sunt res quibus est fruendum</quote>; dicendum quod
<lb ed="#Q"/>res aliquando appellatur natura, aliquando res
<lb ed="#Q"/>appellatur ipsa res naturae. <name ref="#Augustine">Augustinus</name> ergo<!--m-->
<lb ed="#Q"/>ibi vocat <quote>tres<!--n--> res</quote>, tres divinas personas. Unde
<lb ed="#Q"/>sunt hic tres res naturae sive tres<!--o--> personae:
<lb ed="#Q"/>non tres res, id est tres naturae, immo sunt tres<!--p-->
<lb ed="#Q"/>unius naturae et sunt illa natura, scilicet divina
<lb ed="#Q"/>essentia. Et ideo cum veritas ad essentiam refe<lb ed="#Q"/>ratur
et super ipsam fundetur, non est dicendum
<lb ed="#Q"/>quod sint harum tres veritates distinctae, immo una
<lb ed="#Q"/>sola. — Quod tamen obicitur quod <mentioned>Patrem
<lb ed="#Q"/>generare non est Filium generari</mentioned>: dicimus quod
<lb ed="#Q"/>si loquimur de veritate, quae est rei relate ad
<lb ed="#Q"/>intellectum, posset esse quod sint tres veritates
<lb ed="#Q"/>secundum rationem intelligentiae, una tamen sola
<lb ed="#Q"/>est veritas essentiae, non plures; et de hac hic
<lb ed="#Q"/>loquimur. Ipsa enim proprietas ad personam re<lb ed="#Q"/>ducitur
et persona ad essentiam; et propter hoc
<lb ed="#Q"/>veritas proprietatis ad veritatem<!--q--> personae redu<lb ed="#Q"/>citur<!--r-->
et veritas personae ad veritatem essentiae:

ratione cuius est veritas, constat quod non

<lb ed="#Q"/>ad res extra<!--g--> una non sit altera, quia <mentioned>Petrum

<lb ed="#Q"/>mente divina<!--h--> veritates istae indivisae sunt et sunt

<lb ed="#Q"/>una veritas. Sunt enim prima veritas sive divina
<lb ed="#Q"/>essentia; nam <mentioned>mundum fore</mentioned>, antequam mundus
<lb ed="#Q"/>sit, non est aliud quam <mentioned>Deum fore creaturum<!--i-->
<lb ed="#Q"/>mundum</mentioned>; et similiter <mentioned>Petrum fore</mentioned>, et sic<!--k--> de

quod creatura in Creatore est creatrix essen<lb ed="#Q"/>tia.
Unde sicut nos dicimus de ideis quod ideae
<lb ed="#Q"/>relate ad ipsa<!--n--> ideata plures sunt, quia crea<lb ed="#Q"/>turae,
quarum sunt, plures sunt<!--o--> nec una est alia,
<lb ed="#Q"/>et ideo in comparatione ista, una idea non est<!--p-->
