videat Deus — sicut dicit <name ref="#Augustine">Augustinus</name><!--1-->:
<quote>Omnia simul videt, quorum nullum est quod
<lb ed="#Q"/>non semper videat</quote> — ergo cum contingat utrum<lb ed="#Q"/>que
oppositorum esse, ut te sedere et<!--e--> non se<lb ed="#Q"/>dere,
utrumque<!--f--> istorum videt Deus; sed non
<lb ed="#Q"/>videt hoc post illud, ita ut sit successio in vi<lb ed="#Q"/>dendo;

<lb ed="#Q"/>esse oppositorum sine oppositione et falsitate, quia
<lb ed="#Q"/>non sciuntur opposita a Deo secundum modum
<lb ed="#Q"/>ipsorum enuntiabilium, sed magis per<!--i--> modum
<lb ed="#Q"/>comprehensionis rerum de quibus sunt enuntiabi<lb ed="#Q"/>lia;
quae quidem comprehensio omnino abstracta
<lb ed="#Q"/>est a compositione et oppositione enuntiabilium:
<lb ed="#Q"/>et dico rerum enuntiabilium non per modum illum

<lb ed="#Q"/>[Ad obiecta]: 1. Ad illud ergo quod primo
<lb ed="#Q"/>obicit, dicendum quod haec est duplex: <mentioned>utrum<lb ed="#Q"/>que
oppositorum simul videt Deus</mentioned>, quia si haec
<lb ed="#Q"/>dictio <mentioned>simul</mentioned> determinet hoc verbum <mentioned>videre</mentioned>
<lb ed="#Q"/>in comparatione ad videntem, vera est; et est
<lb ed="#Q"/>sensus: Deus utrumque oppositorum simul videt,
<lb ed="#Q"/>quia eodem praesenti aeternitatis simul videt utrum<lb ed="#Q"/>que.
Si vero determinet hoc verbum <mentioned>videre</mentioned> in
<lb ed="#Q"/>comparatione ad rem visam, falsa est; et est sen<lb ed="#Q"/>sus:
Deus utrumque<!--l--> oppositorum simul videt<!--m-->,
<lb ed="#Q"/>simul scilicet<!--n--> esse; et in hoc sensu procedit, cum
<lb ed="#Q"/>accipit: <mentioned>utrumque oppositorum esse simul est

<lb ed="#Q"/>similis modus essendi, cum dicuntur opposita
<lb ed="#Q"/>esse in rerum natura et cum<!--o--> dicuntur esse in
<lb ed="#Q"/>scientia Dei. In rerum enim natura impossibile
<lb ed="#Q"/>est quod simul ponantur opposita in eodem sub<lb ed="#Q"/>iecto,
sed tamen simul sunt in scientia. Nota tamen
<lb ed="#Q"/>quod etiam in rerum natura diiiert<!--p-->, cum dicun<lb ed="#Q"/>tur
contraria esse in aliquo secundum veritatem
<lb ed="#Q"/>et cum dicuntur esse<!--q--> in aliquo secundum spe<lb ed="#Q"/>ciem
sive intentionem. Nam contraria secundum
<lb ed="#Q"/>veritatem non possunt<!--r--> esse in eodem subiecto
<lb ed="#Q"/>simul per<!--s--> naturam, velut contrarii colores in
<lb ed="#Q"/>eadem parte parietis, et tamen simul possunt esse
<lb ed="#Q"/>in medio<!--5--> per intentionem; sicut patet quod in<lb ed="#Q"/>tentiones
innumerabilium<!--t--> contrariorum colorum
