<lb ed="#Q"/>loqui de excaecatione: uno modo, prout est culpa;
<lb ed="#Q"/>alio modo, prout est poena iuste inflicta propter
<lb ed="#Q"/>culpam. Primo modo, nullo modo est a Deo, sed
<lb ed="#Q"/>ab homine deficiente: et de ista non loquimur.
<lb ed="#Q"/>Si autem loquamur de excaecatione, prout est<!--r-->
<lb ed="#Q"/>poena propter peccatum<!--s--> inflicta: hoc est dupli<lb ed="#Q"/>citer,
quia contingit loqui de ipsa absolute, alio
<lb ed="#Q"/>modo prout est in ratione poenae iuste sequentis
<lb ed="#Q"/>ex peccato. Notandum<!--t--> enim quod est duplex
poena: una est poena illata, ut poena gehennae

<lb ed="#Q"/>et haec absolute dicitur esse a Deo, quia Deus
<lb ed="#Q"/>punit illa poena; unde absolute dicitur esse a
<lb ed="#Q"/>Deo quia iste damnabitur, prout nominatur poena
<lb ed="#Q"/>illata. Alia autem<!--a--> est poena, quae dicitur poena<!--b-->
<lb ed="#Q"/>contracta: haec est illa quae contrahitur cum
<lb ed="#Q"/>peccato, et talis poena est excaecatio; ipsa enim
<lb ed="#Q"/>cum peccato mortali contrahitur, quia peccatum
<lb ed="#Q"/>est in voluntate, excaecatio vero in ratione,
<lb ed="#Q"/>quae comes est voluntatis, quia <quote>liberum arbi<lb ed="#Q"/>trium
facultas est voluntatis et rationis<!--1--></quote>. Et
<lb ed="#Q"/>de tali poena non dicitur quod sit a Deo
<lb ed="#Q"/>absolute, sed a Deo permittente vel a Dei

a peccato. Ideoque Scriptura sic<!--c--> consuevit
