<lb ed="#Q"/>Consequenter quaeritur quid sit<!--a--> <mentioned>hypostasis</mentioned>
<lb ed="#Q"/>secundum quod accipitur in divinis.
</p>

<lb ed="#Q"/>a. Ponitur autem haec ratio: Hypostasis est
<lb ed="#Q"/>substantia<!--p--> cum proprietate. Quaeritur ergo: hoc
<lb ed="#Q"/>nomen <mentioned>substantia</mentioned> aut dicit ibi<!--q--> essentiam sive<!--r-->
<lb ed="#Q"/><mentioned>quo est</mentioned> aut <mentioned>quod est</mentioned> aut dicit idem quod <mentioned>hypo<lb ed="#Q"/>stasis</mentioned>.
Si autem dicit <mentioned>quo est</mentioned> vel <mentioned>quod est</mentioned>,
<lb ed="#Q"/>ut scilicet addita proprietate faciat hypostasim,
<lb ed="#Q"/>obicitur sic: una est substantia Patris et Filii et
<lb ed="#Q"/>Spiritus Sancti; adveniat ergo per intelligentiam
<lb ed="#Q"/>paternitas substantiae, ergo inest paternitas sub<lb ed="#Q"/>stantiae<!--s-->
ut fiat hypostasis Patris; similiter fi<lb ed="#Q"/>liatio
addatur ad hoc uti fiat hypostasis Filii; ergo

<lb ed="#Q"/>eadem substantia est sub oppositis<!--u--> relationibus:
<lb ed="#Q"/>quod est impossibile intelligere. Si autem<!--v--> su<lb ed="#Q"/>mitur
ibi substantia pro hypostasi, ergo idem no<lb ed="#Q"/>tificatur
per se ipsum, et sic erit abire in infinitum.

<lb ed="#Q"/>Ergo substantia, secundum quod ponitur in ra<lb ed="#Q"/>tione
hypostasis, dicit substantiam communem<!--x-->
<lb ed="#Q"/>quae dicit <mentioned>quo est</mentioned> vel <mentioned>quod est</mentioned>.

est substantia cum proprietate</mentioned> valet

ibi pro re naturae;- unde hypostasis hic

<lb ed="#Q"/>sub proprietate. Non dico <mentioned>substans</mentioned>, quia sub<lb ed="#Q"/>stare
proprie non dicitur in divinis, quia, sicut
<lb ed="#Q"/>vult <name>Augustinus</name><!--1-->, non est proprie substare
<lb ed="#Q"/>nisi ubi est subiectum et accidens; sed <mentioned>subsi<lb ed="#Q"/>stere</mentioned>
proprie est respectu proprietatis. Haec au<lb ed="#Q"/>tem
res naturae non determinat ipsum <mentioned>quo est</mentioned>
<lb ed="#Q"/>vel<!--b--> ipsum <mentioned>quod est</mentioned>; unde substantia non ac<lb ed="#Q"/>cipitur
ibi secundum quod dicit <mentioned>quod est</mentioned> vel
<lb ed="#Q"/><mentioned>quo est</mentioned>, immo accipitur ibi substantia<!--c--> secun<lb ed="#Q"/>dum
quod dicit <mentioned>qui est</mentioned>, secundum quod accipi<lb ed="#Q"/>tur

<lb ed="#Q"/>autem substantia dicitur res naturae et per ipsam
<lb ed="#Q"/>bene notificatur hypostasis, quoniam<!--d--> in intellectu

<lb ed="#Q"/>hypostasis non solum debet cadere quid re<lb ed="#Q"/>spectivum,
immo etiam quid absolutum, aliter<!--e-->
<lb ed="#Q"/>non haberet intellectus super quod quiesceret in<lb ed="#Q"/>telligendo
hypostasim: ideo oportet ibi<!--f--> ponere
<lb ed="#Q"/>quid absolutum et hoc est res naturae. Haec au<lb ed="#Q"/>tem
res naturae dicitur hic substantia, hypostasis
<lb ed="#Q"/>autem dicit illam<!--g--> rem naturae cum proprietate
<lb ed="#Q"/>et ita cum respectu. — Et si quaeritur: aut<!--h-->
<lb ed="#Q"/>res illa est substantia aut hypostasis - dicen<lb ed="#Q"/>dum
quod in re haec omnia sunt unum, tamen
<lb ed="#Q"/>quantum ad notificationem non<!--i--> est bona quae<lb ed="#Q"/>stio,
quia licet idem sint in re, tamen alio et alio
<lb ed="#Q"/>modo dicitur per ista. Et sic potest notificari hy<lb ed="#Q"/>postasis
per illam rem naturae tamquam per illud
