ad hoc quod sit mortale peccatum.

ubi agitur de sensualitate. Nam sicut in
<lb ed="#Qc"/>tentatione primi hominis tria fuerunt, serpens, vir
<lb ed="#Qc"/>et mulier, sic<!--g--> spiritualiter est in tentatione ho<lb ed="#Qc"/>minis.
Nam serpens est sensualitas, inferior pars
<lb ed="#Qc"/>rationis mulier, superior vir. Serpens intendit de<lb ed="#Qc"/>cipere
mulierem cibo illicito, cum sensualitas ille<lb ed="#Qc"/>cebra
voluptatis inferiorem partem pulsat rationis;
<lb ed="#Qc"/>sola mulier comedit, quando inferior pars rationis
<lb ed="#Qc"/>sine voluntate perficiendi consentit delectationi;
<lb ed="#Qc"/>vir comedit, quando<!--h--> superior pars rationis<!--i--> vo<lb ed="#Qc"/>luntatem
plenam perficiendi apponit<!--2-->. Cum ergo
<lb ed="#Qc"/>in sensuali<!--k--> motu peccati illecebra teneatur<!--l-->, ve<lb ed="#Qc"/>niale
et levissimum peccatum est; tunc vero mu<lb ed="#Qc"/>lier
sine viro gustat, cum ita delectatione cogita<lb ed="#Qc"/>tionis
tenetur peccatum ut faciendum non decer<lb ed="#Qc"/>natur<!--m-->.
Si ergo peccatum non diu teneatur in
<lb ed="#Qc"/>cogitatione delectationis<!--n-->, sed statim ut mulierem
<lb ed="#Qc"/>tetigit, recedit viri auctoritate, peccatum veniale
<lb ed="#Qc"/>est<!--o-->; si vero in delectatione diu teneatur, etsi
<lb ed="#Qc"/>voluntas perficiendi desit, est mortale; cum<!--p--> vero
<lb ed="#Qc"/>vir, id est superior pars rationis, illecebrae con<lb ed="#Qc"/>sentit,
hoc est cum adest plena voluntas perfi<lb ed="#Qc"/>ciendi,
mortale est semper et gravissimum.

quae est in Deo vel aequetur, nunquam

<lb ed="#Qc"/>est mortale peccatum; nec deliberationis: quan<lb ed="#Qc"/>tumcumque

<lb ed="#Qc"/>adsit consensus, peccatum mortale non est.

de diuturnitate deliberationis rationis. Cum
<lb ed="#Qc"/>enim deliberat ratio illicitam esse delectationem
<lb ed="#Qc"/>et post delectationi<!--c--> consentit, aversa a delecta<lb ed="#Qc"/>tione
quae est in Deo, per contemptum, illici<lb ed="#Qc"/>tae
delectationi, quae est in creatura, adhaeret
<lb ed="#Qc"/>et ideo peccat mortaliter.

est quod est consensus ad delec<lb ed="#Qc"/>tandum
et est consensus ad opus. Consensus ad
<lb ed="#Qc"/>opus<!--d-->, si opus sit de genere veniatis, sicut est
<lb ed="#Qc"/>mendacium iocosum, et ei consentiatur, in quan<lb ed="#Qc"/>tum
tale<!--e--> veniale peccatum est; si opus sit mortale,
<lb ed="#Qc"/>ut fornicari et huiusmodi, mortale est<!--f-->. Consen<lb ed="#Qc"/>sus
etiam este ad delectandum; quod si delecta<lb ed="#Qc"/>tio
veniali actui referatur, veniale est; si mor<lb ed="#Qc"/>tali,
distinguendum est<!--h-->, quia aut consensus ille
<lb ed="#Qc"/>est subitus, non praehabita deliberatione, et ille
<lb ed="#Qc"/>appellatur surreptio et procedit ex corruptione
<lb ed="#Qc"/>rationis, et veniale est: et tunc mulier comedit,

peccatum in delectatione, sed<!--k--> statim recedit,

quod <mentioned>cum plena voluntas perficiendi adest,

<lb ed="#Qc"/>Nam dicit <name>Augustinus</name><!--4--> quod inferior pars
<lb ed="#Qc"/>omnia inferiora disponit, superior ad superiora
<lb ed="#Qc"/>contemplanda respicit. Plena ergo voluntas, ut<!--m-->
<lb ed="#Qc"/>aliquod peccatum ducatur in actum, ad inferiorem
<lb ed="#Qc"/>partem rationis pertinet.
