<lb ed="#Qc"/>Ad quod sic: 1. Dicitur in <title>Psalmo</title><!--1--> super illud:
<lb ed="#Qc"/><quote>Incensa igni et suffossa</quote>, quod duplex est radix
<lb ed="#Qc"/>peccati: amor male incendens et timor male hu<lb ed="#Qc"/>milians;
timor vero ad amorem reducitur, sicut
<lb ed="#Qc"/>dicit <name>Augustinus</name>, in libro <title>De libero arbitrio</title><!--2-->.
<lb ed="#Qc"/>Si ergo omissio est ex timore male humiliante,

timor radicatur in amore, sive sit bonus

peccatorum, sicut contingit ordinem<!--l--> dicere,

<lb ed="#Qc"/>radix omissionis non semper est timor, sed amor
<lb ed="#Qc"/>sive libido. Sicut enim ex amore male accendente
<lb ed="#Qc"/>aliquis facit malum, quod tenetur non facere, ita
<lb ed="#Qc"/>aliquis non facit bonum, quod tenetur facere.
<lb ed="#Qc"/>Unde penes illas duas radices non distinguuntur
<lb ed="#Qc"/>essentialiter omissum et commissum.
