<lb ed="#Qc"/>Dictis peccatis, quae sunt contra honestatem sermonis et utilitatem<!--f--> et ita contra
<lb ed="#Qc"/>bonitatem, dicendum est de iis quae sunt contra rectitudinem. Contra rectitu<lb ed="#Qc"/>dinem
<lb ed="#Qc"/>autem peccatur in laude vel<!--g--> vituperio; in laude, sicut est<!--h--> in adula<lb ed="#Qc"/>tione
aut iactantia; in vituperio, sicut est in blasphemia aut detractione et quibusdam

iactantia, in aliena vero dicitur adulatio.

<lb ed="#Qc"/>Dicendum est<!--k--> primo de iactantia. Est autem iactantia propriae laudis ostentatio,
<lb ed="#Qc"/>cum non subsit veritas, et haec<!--l--> alio nomine dicitur arrogantia, cum sibi attribuit quod
<lb ed="#Qc"/>non habet. Aliquando tamen<!--m--> iactantia extenditur, ut dicatur<!--n--> ostentatio vana propriae
<lb ed="#Qc"/>laudis, etiam cum subest veritas, sicut dicit <name>B. Gregorius</name><!--4-->: <quote>Si accepisti, quid gloriaris
<lb ed="#Qc"/>quasi non acceperis?</quote> Tamen et hic<!--o--> posset dici iactantia sive gloriatio de eo quod non
<lb ed="#Qc"/>est: licet enim bonum habeat, tamen non a se habet. Similiter accipitur <title>Prov.</title> 1, 5, super
