consequentibus<!--8-->; vel, si datur intelligi
<lb ed="#Qc"/>per<!--i--> illud<!--9-->: <quote>Non loqueris contra proximum tuum
<lb ed="#Qc"/>falsum testimonium</quote>, minus est homicidio; illud
<lb ed="#Qc"/>enim est primum inter transgressiones oppositas
<lb ed="#Qc"/>prohibitionibus secundae tabulae: primo enim
<cb ed="#Qc" n="b"/>
<lb ed="#Qc"/>prohibetur homicidium, secundo moechia, tertio
<lb ed="#Qc"/>furtum, quarto falsum testimonium.

<lb ed="#Qc"/>[Solutio]: Ad quod dicendum quod, licet grave
<lb ed="#Qc"/>sit peccatum detractio, tamen non est omnino
<lb ed="#Qc"/>par homicidio.

<lb ed="#Qc"/>Ad obiecta 1. autem respondendum est quod
<lb ed="#Qc"/>homicidium aliquando dicitur proprie, aliquando
<lb ed="#Qc"/>cum extensione vocabuli. Cum dicitur quod de<lb ed="#Qc"/>tractio
vel odium est homicidium, dicitur cum<!--k-->
<lb ed="#Qc"/>extensione vocabuli. Ratio autem esse potest
<lb ed="#Qc"/>quare detractio dicatur<!--l--> homicidium, quia, quan<lb ed="#Qc"/>tum
in ipsa est, aufertur quaedam vita, qua homo
<lb ed="#Qc"/>vivit in bona opinione alterius.

<lb ed="#Qc"/>2. Quod autem dicitur esse<!--m--> par poena, attendi<lb ed="#Qc"/>tur
in genere. Utrique<!--n--> enim tamquam mortali
<lb ed="#Qc"/>debetur poena aeterna in futuro, in praesenti vero,
<lb ed="#Qc"/>sicut dicitur in Canonica <title>Ioan.</title><!--10-->, privatio vitae
<lb ed="#Qc"/>manentis in se ipso. Si vero accipiatur poena
<lb ed="#Qc"/>determinata in specie vel in quantitate, non est
<lb ed="#Qc"/>par poena homicidii et detractionis.

<lb ed="#Qc"/>3. Ad tertium vero dicendum quod dicitur
<lb ed="#Qc"/>peccatum detractionis, quo<!--o--> detrahitur Christo
<lb ed="#Qc"/>in membris, maius peccato homicidii Christi prop<lb ed="#Qc"/>ter
comparationem vitae spiritualis ad vitam car<lb ed="#Qc"/>nalem:
vita enim fidei est vita spiritualis, vita
<lb ed="#Qc"/>vero naturae est vita carnalis. In hac ergo com<lb ed="#Qc"/>paratione,
quia nobilior dicitur vita gratiae quam
<lb ed="#Qc"/>vita naturae, dicitur maius peccatum detractionis,
<lb ed="#Qc"/>quo detrahitur fidei Christi, homicidio Christi.
<lb ed="#Qc"/>Ex alia vero parte minus est<!--p--> improportionaliter
<lb ed="#Qc"/>peccatum, quo fit iniuria membris Christi secun<lb ed="#Qc"/>dum
se, peccato quo fit iniuria ipsi Christo in
<lb ed="#Qc"/>se. Humana enim natura, unita divinae in Christo,
<lb ed="#Qc"/>excellit omnem aliam creaturam, et ideo pecca<lb ed="#Qc"/>tum
maius peccato.
