veritatem. Ideo, cum tot essent diversitates

<lb ed="#Qd"/>quod ex hac unitate dicitur Symbolum. Symbo<lb ed="#Qd"/>lum
enim in Naturali Philosophia<!--4--> dicitur con<lb ed="#Qd"/>venientia;
propter convenientiam<!--h--> ergo intellec<lb ed="#Qd"/>tuum
in veritate una et religione una Symbolum
<lb ed="#Qd"/>fidei appellatum est. Nota tamen quod praeter
<lb ed="#Qd"/>hanc causam duae possunt aliae assignari de<lb ed="#Qd"/>nominationis
Symboli. Una est convenientia Apo<lb ed="#Qd"/>stolorum
in Symbolo componendo, sive Patrum,
<lb ed="#Qd"/>quia, sicut intra patebit<!--5-->, in Symbolo Apostolo<lb ed="#Qd"/>rum
unusquisque apposuit partem suam: inde

Unde <name>Augustinus</name>, in libro <title>De Symbolo</title><!--6-->:

primo removet errores circa confessionem

per rectam confessionem essentialium et

<lb ed="#Qd"/>post versiculos prooemiales dicitur: <quote>Fides au<lb ed="#Qd"/>tem
