This assumes none of the consent participants are in the room.

  • Allow patient, patient-representative, practitioner, or other principle to create a Consent Video Call
  • Allow principle to invite other participants, via email, link to session
  • Allow principle to share their LEAP Consent UI session
  • View/hear principle and remote participants video/audio streams
  • Request and Capture remote electronic signatures when prompted by principle
  • deliver to each participant digitally signed human-readable pdf of each consent that is created during session
  • Establish role of each invited participant, witness, notary, practitioner, legal representative etc.

Consider opensource tools such OpenVidu for implementation.
