Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I am a happy user of this package, and have been for quite some time. I am also a happy user of god-mode. For a long time now, I've maintained a personal patch to add the modals segment to the various mode lines defined in this package that do not include it (e.g. the dashboard mode line). I find it a bit error prone to use any emacs mode without an indicator of the modal state, as something as simple as quitting emacs or moving point will be different depending on the modality.

Describe the solution you'd like
This feature request is thus primarily a casual question: have I missed something? Is there some mechanism to always show my god-mode state that I have just not noticed? If not, can we think of an easier way of inserting the modals segment in every mode line? I need to update my patch more frequently than I'd like when updating my emacs packages, so it's a bit of minor maintenance I'd rather do without.

Describe alternatives you've considered
As an alternative, if there is indeed a reason for not wanting the modals segment in various mode lines, I can continue to patch the doom-modeline package when building my emacs configuration (like this) as I have been doing.
