Cel-nav will compile in Standalone configuration and create NSIS package, but installation into
Opencpn 4.2.
Opencpn 4.4
Opencpn 4.5.221
(also tried various opencpn.lib when compiled (v4.2, v4.4.x, v4.5.221)
& buildwin populated but nothing mentioned in the README..

Also tried using a release version of the plugin from the MS VStudio debug test configuration but that failed too! Crashed and sent a report probably 4-5 times.

What have I missed?

PS: Just to be clear, I have Cel-Nav working under MS VStudio Debug mode. It runs fine!!

The standalone compiles successfully and creates NSIS package, but when installed, it fails.

  • Deleted build directory and git clone and try again. Found an extra empty dirrectory here
    C:\Users..GitHub\o-plugin\s-celestial_navigation_pi\build_CPack_Packages\win32\NSIS\celestial_navigation_pi-.-win32\plugins\celestial_navigation_pi\data\celestial_navigation_pi
  • Does not affect operation. Will next test.

Is this something to do with SVG?
Exactly what do I need under Buildwin, please?

PS: Povl's PR#9 also fixes the Win10 problem with entry of second sight, bombing windows.

Cel-Nav debug and release are now both failing. Cel-Nav Release bombs Opencpn too..

Therefor I am closing this as the action is inaccurate now.
