Daily status - 2022 April

This is the daily status thread for 2022 April. Daily status posts will be put daily (or when I get to it) below this post.

Starting on 2022 January 14th, entries have gone back to their shortened form. This was done to save time, memory, and prevent unnecessary duplication. I hope to get caught up by February 14th, then stay caught up.

I had an OK day with development today. I am still struggling to stay caught up, but I am slowly getting there. It has been a struggle since 2021 December 28th
nally figured out the proper way to write GetText Catalog files.

Today was the day where I worked on my weekly GItHub organization work, along with basic Git-image work. I also got caught up on status post work today. Not much was done today.

In my personal life, our dog Milly made it to her 15th birthday, she is doing fine still. She was close to death several times.

I have stalled on trying to get all the way caught up. Here is the last project I have left:

The last projects

1. Marine Biology
1A. DuckDuckGo data (likely a single commit)
2A. Git-Templates notes uploads

Milly is still doing OK, I will keep logging her status here. She really seems like she will until her 15th birthday. She has made it to 15th birthday, and is still going stong.

Move note

Data has been moved on the 2022 February 8th revision, which started with the 2022 January 14th entry post. It was too difficult to maintain, and not worth maintaining. Data will need to be moved to subprojects. Data from 2022 January 13th and below contain all the uncut data.

The following major data was omitted:

  • Counters (commented out)

  • Language knowledge sections (Java, JavaScript, etc.)

  • All other subsections

The data was mostly being duplicated with little change, occupying unnecessary space. I have now gone back to the classic way of writing status posts. It should reduce the writing time per day from ~20+ minutes to <5 minutes.

Today, I worked on various Git-image projects, and organization follows. I also resumed work on the Engineer Supderdesk project, as I have recently gained a new interest in architecture, and it gave me some days.

I also worked on the private project G⭐️OS heavily. Most of my time today went towards this.

Today, I worked on various Git-image projects, and organization follows. I also resumed work on the Virg.io project, as I had some ideas for it. Ironically, my phones SIM card tray completely failed, and is no longer usable, after 3 hours of writing a program related to plugging stuff into/unplugging stuff from a computer.

I can no longer transfer files via SD card between my PDA and my laptop. I am actually really glad I was given beta access to ProtonDrive last week, as it is my only hope for now.

I also did mass IGNORE.md file deletion in my GitHub image repository.

I also worked on the private project G⭐️OS heavily. A lot of my time today went towards this.

Today, I worked on various Git-image projects, and some forks.

Today was 404 dat, a day to celebrate the Internet and hyperlinks. I made a repurposed definition for link rot awareness last year. This year, I am adding in new measures, such as antitrust day

I created 3 new projects toady. There is a very obscure game from my childhood that I remembered in vivid detail. I turned the 3 images I found into its own separate entry. I also made a SNU Programming Tools IDE for MoonScript, along with a repository regarding learning MOonScript.

I also did mass IGNORE.md file deletion in my GitHub image repository again today.

I did not work on the private project G⭐️OS today. It will be released on 2022 April 8th

Today, I stayed caught up with Git-image work, although I failed to write a status post for today. Today, I worked on my DeGoogle-your-Life project, updating the main repository, and improving the What the FLoC repository. I also worked heavily on the Engineer superdesk project, and created a new SNU project: a blockchain ad system. (I would later abandon this project, as it is not possible to use Blockchain ethically)

Today was the day of the week where I created organizations. I did basic Git-image work, but wasn't able to get to the second half. I created 10 organizations today, and documented them. I also released several private projects, including:

  • Green Star OS
  • Phoneticut
  • Pen People
  • AZWS Encryption
  • Polyworks Squareoff
  • Kommunism

Most of the time today went towards attributing organizations, users, and bots using @all-contributors in the following repositories:

  • Green Star OS
  • AZWS Encryption
  • Polyworks Squareoff
  • Kommunism

I didn't do much else today, just 1 fork.

I had a good day with development today. I am still struggling to stay caught up, but I am slowly getting there. It has been a struggle since 2021 December 28th

I got caught back up on Git-image work today, and also did work in various projects. My phones SIM/SD card slot broke recently, and ProtonMail gave me early access to ProtonDrive, which was really good timing. I made a repository for it to house images today. I also made a 2nd repository today to test if I can attribute multiple users at once with the @all-contributors bot. So far, I have had no luck.

I finished GitHub organization info work from yesterday, and did further work on the SNU Blockchain ad system (which again, has been abandoned, as of writing this, due to ethical issues)

Today was day 6 of getting back into the project of archiving my programming language knowledge. I updated the main Learn project, and created repositories for showcasing my knowledge of the following 5 programming langages:

  • MediaWiki/WikiText
  • Makefile
  • Modelica
  • Mathematica
  • ReStructuredText

Additionally, I finished work on my GitHub Organization Info repository that I didn't get to yesterday, and I updated my V8 GitHub repository template.

I didn't update any other learn repositories today. I didn't do anything else today.

I have stalled on trying to get all the way caught up. Here is the last project I have left:

The last projects

1. Marine Biology
1A. DuckDuckGo data (likely a single commit)
2A. Git-Templates notes uploads

Milly is still doing OK, I will keep logging her status here. She really seems like she will until her 15th birthday. She has made it to 15th birthday, and is still going strong, as of 2022, April 13th.

  1. Go to the repository homepage
  2. Press [Add file] or go to edit any file
  3. Go back to the homepage of the repository (optional)
  4. Replace the username in the URL to your username

I had an OK good with development today. I am still struggling to stay caught up, but I am slowly getting there. It has been a struggle since 2021 December 28th

I recently discovered the browser extension turn off the lights and I really like the concept, but I had to disable it temporarily due to GitHub problems with commits. I used it one more time today to test its use on Khan Academy, it wasn't very functional. It shrink the video into a very tiny box, but other than that, it did its job.

Today, GitHub changed the size of sub-nabar buttons, somewhere around the code and issue ribbon tabs. GitHub also wasn't properly reporting commits for some time today, the issue resolved itself sometime around 11:22 pm PST and 11:52 pm PST, and it didn't affect my end of day screenshots.

Today, I did some audio and video downloads, along with some audio conversion on my Raspberry Pi.

I got caught back up on Git-image work (Part A & B) today

Today, I got partially caught up on Git-image part A & B work. I received 2 external pull requests today, the first one was a graphic design donation for the URLL Specification project, the other was a minor typo fix on the DeGoogle your Life repository.

I fell behind on Git-image work (part A & B)

Today, I started the new project Scarlet Oven it will be released publicly next Friday. I did not get my Raspberry Pi blog back up to date today.

I am still far behind on my status posts.

I didn't do anything else today.

I have stalled on trying to get all the way caught up. Here is the last project I have left:

The last projects

1. Marine Biology
1A. DuckDuckGo data (likely a single commit)
2A. Git-Templates notes uploads

Milly is still doing OK, I will keep logging her status here. She really seems like she will until her 15th birthday. She has made it to 15th birthday, and is still going strong, as of 2022, April 30th. She is having off days from time to time, but nothing too serious yet.
