Add new foods

New foods can be added in the following way:

If you need assistance with the steps 1-3 feel drop write a comment and we will try our best to help you get your (favorite) food into the app.

0. Gather seasonal availability for your food.
1. Get a freely usable image of the food, e.g. from Pixabay or Wikimedia. Remember where you got it from.
2. Provide a cropped version of it (600x500px) in the folder assets/img
3. (technical) Get the food into the SQLite database assets/db/foods.db. Create a new entry in the table foods fill out all columns and add at least one entry for this food in food_region_availability describing the availability the food for one region. The schema of the database can be found in the file assets/db/schema.sql.
