Currently the license terms for this project are not clearly defined. There's Apache 2.0 license header in main.go, but a COPYING file would make it clear if that's the intended license.

Added a LICENSE file for now. Welcome any help!
Current code framework was generated via an pre-1.0 version of operator, and needs to upgrade. https://sdk.operatorframework.io/docs/building-operators/golang/quickstart/
