I am interested in analysis per industrial sector and would like to use SIC codes (Standard Industrial Classification) to filter CIKs for a particular industry, and then analyse 10-Ks for each CIK.
Describe the solution you'd like
Allow cit_lookup to accept a list of SIC codes as a parameter. Or, alternatively, provide a separate option for SIC code (I wasn't able to find one)
My apologies for the really long time for my response. Regarding the question, my need is not very strong right now but I still feel it's useful for industry sector-based filtering. Thank you.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Currently, in the absence of the solution above, I create my own URLs (example, https://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/browse-edgar?SIC=8000&count=1000) to pull CIKs, which I don't consider an efficient process
