Heya turn2mi,

This problem with the "No Media Plugin was found to handle the "text/html" mime type. Media of this type will be unavailable." notifications being spammed like this can happen if the viewer cannot find the file named slplugin.exe within the viewer install folder.
The most likely cause of this is that your antivirus software has deleted or blocked slplugin.exe and from you explanation it sounds like AVG has blocked slplugin.

If you go into your install folder, which by default we be at C:\Program Files (x86)\SecondLifeViewer on your system. You should see a file named slplugin.exe in here. If it is missing then AVG deleted it. If it is present then AVG blocked it.
If slplugin.exe is present, whitelist it with AVG.
If slplugin.exe isnt present, reinstall the viewer but do not launch it. Check that slplugin.exe is now present and add it to the AVG whitelist before you launch the viewer.

If you need any further help getting slplugin.exe whitelisted then you should contact Linden Lab support directly at https://support.secondlife.com/contact-support/

Thanks!
