Heya Rory,

Can you explain in more detail what goes wrong when you attempt to login using the 3.7.20 version of the viewer?
Does the 3.7.20 viewer crash at "initialising VFS..." or does something different happen?
There is a known launch crash on 3.7.20 for those with older Intel GPUs, however you have AMD graphics.

Please can you attempt to run a session on 3.7.20 and wait for it to "go wrong" and then before relaunching the viewer, zip up your logs folder and attach it to this issue using More Actions -> Attach files.

Setting status to Needs More Information until Rory can get us his log files. But I imagine this is related to the update we made to get rid of the gpu_table. BUG-7783

Okay this looks like BUG-7783 then.
Yes, you should be fine on 3.7.19 for now.
There should be a test viewer with a fix for this crash available soon.
