it started and disappeared. crashing at VHS, it is a duplicate of 7782

I expected I would get in, that it would work correctly

This is a known problem on 3.7.20.296094 - see BUG-7783

There is a test viewer with a proposed fix for this crash, which you can download here: http://automated-builds-secondlife-com.s3.amazonaws.com/hg/repo/oz_maint-4678/rev/296857/index.html
Use the "Install: CYGWIN" link for Windows.

Are you able to login on this viewer without crashing?
