Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a new object.
  2. Load media (video) on texture.
  3. Click play.

– You'll hear the sound but the video area will be blank/black –

Actual Behavior

Youtube (or any other video source) loaded as object media texture plays audio but the display is blank/black.

Expected Behavior

The video should be visible along with the audio.

Other information

Flash NPAPI Plug-in version 17.0.0.134 is installed.

Heya David,

Please see BUG-3694 for this bug.
The only workaround for now is to roll back to an earlier version of flash then 11.8.
Note that you may not wish to do this because this will break flash in the Safari browser and the earlier versions of Flash also have unfixed security problems.

Hi Whirly, thanks for the info.

I don't use Flash in Safari... Using HTML5 Only.

I only installed Flash for SL since HTML5 audio/video doesn't seem to be working in SL? Wish it did! :(

I'll check the other bug for a temporary fix.

Wow, that issue was reported 21/Aug/13... It's still not fixed? What the ****?!?
