What just happened?

As mentioned above, the recent download/update from Linden Labs has reset my screen somehow and I don't know how to get it back to looking normal. I use a widescreen UHD4K2K screen and it has never done this after a download before, now suddenly all the text boxes, the text, the movement buttons ext. are enormous and obscuring my view of my screen. The image behind all that looks normal on first glance but the buttons are so big they aren't even fitting on my screen correctly and my directional buttons are so big and not able to be made smaller.

What were you doing when it happened?

Downloaded the newest version/update from Linden Labs as it said I could not log on unless it was updated, so I updated it and now faced with this mess.

What were you expecting to happen instead?

I expected it to look exactly the same as I had logged off last night. After each update it has always gone back to how I had it now for some reason it's all out of proportion.

Hi Stella,

This is a duplicate of BUG-226655. Please review that issue for help resetting your Second Life UI scale to something readable.

Summary:

  1. Click once in the name field
  2. Press the Tab key 3 times (this should make the Log In button be selected)
  3. Press the Space bar (this will activate the Log In button)

Once logged in press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+R
This will "Reset" your UI size to default.

Thanks!
