G-Helper 0.61 - Backlights stopped working #379
Comments
@arthur-lbchn i don't know what unstable means, but if it was not detecting your keyboard https://github.com/seerge/g-helper/releases/tag/v0.62 should do that, please check. If not - post a log here |
@seerge thanks, 0.62 fixed the problem! |
@seerge having the same issue with 0.69 (0.67 was fine). could you please have a look? thank you! |
@arthur-lbchn can you post a log from 0.69? |
That's strange, cause it still sees your keyboard :) can you check this build ? |
@arthur-lbchn and this |
still the same, no reaction at all. I tried to reboot PC, plugged out adapter. |
@arthur-lbchn does 0.67 (if you would run it now) able to set brightness? |
yes, I just installed 0.67 back and all works like a charm |
GHelper.zip |
yes, this one works as well. the keyboard went off once I launched it, but hotkeys managed to turn it on again. I will continue to monitor, but I hope it's fixed :) |
@arthur-lbchn ok, do you run it on battery now or plugged ? |
it's on battery now, I've also tested while plugged - all good |
@arthur-lbchn it explains why it went off on start (due to setting to lower brightness on battery) Can you check this build if it still works ? GHelper.zip |
yes, this one works as well |
@arthur-lbchn ok, the reason it didn't work - is cause I have added a backlight fix ... for some other model. Does this one still work ? |
Yes, this one works as well ;) |
@arthur-lbchn great, I'll keep it like this and include in next release then. Closing. |
Hello, the case is similar to #273 I reported about a month ago.
With the new G-Helper version 0.61, my backlights were unstable, but today it's completely off.
I've tried to use basic hotkeys and sliders in G-Helper, but still no lights.
My system is:
Asus ROG Strix SCAR 15 (G533ZX)
Windows 11 Home 22H2 (22621.1702)
Let me know if any debug info (and the way how to retrieve it) is needed.
Thank you in advance!
