The website has been vandalized in the past so editing has been suspended, until new solutions have been implemented. However, dead stations are removed automatically with a script and that makes the radio station database smaller for each day.

  • Creating an account system, ip bans, and monitoring for abuse activity is not trivial.
  • You probably want to create a playlist history for each item like Wikipedia so they could roll back changes.

That is a lot of work and it is perhaps what is required to make radio-browser survive. I think you should consider to advertise to recruit more developers to the project.

Are there any tools for moderators? It will be easier to get a team of moderators to keep the db clean.

radio-browser.info should have genre specific moderators, like Reddit has specific moderator (example: https://www.reddit.com/r/batteries/about/moderators/). I can moderate the psytrance genre since I originally expanded it from just a few to 40 entries.
