A Select2 Box, with tagging enabled and multiple enabled to add new own tags doesn't allow to create tags of more than 2 characters. Selecting an existing option works without any problem (of any length). But some code prevents me from adding a new option longer than 2 characters long (just can't add more characters).

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

This seems to be an issue with jquery 3.4.0 and the select 4.0.7 library. Moved to issue #5485
