I didn't see any setting for the /root directory label in fc files. So what is the correct label for root's home directory (/root) ? root_t or user_home_dir_t ?
I checked on Fedora, it sets the label of /root directory to admin_home_t, but it seems we don't have this type.

The correct label for the root home directory is user_home_dir_t, while root_t is reserved to the root of the filesystem hierarchy (i.e. /).

It can of course be customized to other more specific labels, such as the one you mentioned for Fedora.

One reason to have admin_home_dir_t is Fedora doesn't use UBAC. The default would typically be root:object_r:user_home_dir_t.
