Horizontal Scrolling of selected items (chips)

The chips (selected items) aren't horizontally scrollable.

From an UX point of view it would be helpful, if the view containing the chips (selected items) were horizontally scrollable.

Additional context
I might be totally on the wrong side here if this is already something your component supports. It didn't work in my app just now. I couldn't see it in your demo1.gif nor read about it in the readme.
