Run semantic release without ciBranch or ciRepo

Hi,

I'm looking to get all of the package versioning benefits of semantic release without it looking into our bamboo variables so much as we automate releases in a unique fashion.

I want to run semantic release in bamboo, but I don't want semantic release to acknowledge the bamboo plan branch or the bamboo repository, instead I want to just run semantic release on several repositories on the branch that I checkout on through a bamboo task script.

Is this possible? How do I stop semantic release from looking into bamboo variables? If it just did it what it does on my local machine but actually published the packages, in bamboo, I would be happy.
