What was the closest you managed get to 303 sound? :-) I know this is not exactly easy task.
But do you have some example sketches or tricks and tips on how to mimmick that sharp chirping bass of Roland using Mozzi?

Hi Tomas,
I've never played with a 303, but seeing one on youtube it looks like the sound is made by:
a choice of square or triangle wave > amplitude envelope > envelope following resonant filter
The actual 303 sound might be synthesised using different techniques, but I would start in Mozzi by trying a triangle wave with Ead envelope (look on the Mozzi examples page online or in the bundled library examples) and StateVariableFilter. Then there is the sequencing and control of parameters, which might take much longer than simply approximating the single note sound.
A good challenge if you have time!
Tim
