binary/blob field content not visible

Tables with BLOB fields show nothing where there is binary content in the field. Would be good to
be able to view this content.

This has been resolved in r370. BLOB and other binary types will now show part of the data in string form (up to
first linebreak) in the field preview, and will show full details when double-clicked.
