Slowdown in Serenity versioning

I just wanted to highlight this issue over here as there seems to be no activity / updates regarding the issue since December 2019. It would be greatly appreciated if somebody could investigate.

General performance changes over big version changes aren't very actionable, as they can come from many sources and are often dependent on the way the tests are written. If you can narrow it down to a specific version change and provide a sample project that illustrates the changes, that will help.
