This is a Bug Report (well, kind of)

Description

  • What went wrong?

Serverless: Removing old service artifacts from S3...
Serverless: beforeFunctions --> building ...
Serverless: beforeFunctions <-- Complete, built 0 events.
Serverless: functions --> prepare to be executed by s3 buckets ...
Serverless: functions <-- built 0 events across 0 buckets.

(emphasis mine)

  • What did you expect should have happened?

Something less amusing. In any user-read messages, the imperative case is always intended for the user. As it is phrased, it is telling the user to prepare to be executed (killed) by the method of s3 buckets.

@Infiltrator would you happen to be using serverless-plugin-existing-s3 in your project? It seems like the log message is from that plugin.

If so, it may be more appropriate to create an issue in the serverless-plugin-existing-s3 issue tracker instead.
