We're using Logstasher while also keeping the regular log for our Rails 4 application.

I saw that there seems to be a "config.logstasher.log_level" option, defaulting to warn.
However, leaving it unconfigured or overriding it to fatal (for example) doesn't seem to be actually doing something : Logstash Json log always logs everything >= info.

Is this the intended behavior?

@shadabahmed : do you have any information about that? Is custom log level working for you?
