Managing '_extensions' folder

Hi there. I love this little extension filter. However, I notice it works when the Quarto document I'm creating is in the root project directory, but it fails when the Quarto document lives in a deeper directory. Any advice on getting it to work in that case?

As per my understanding the _extension folder (i.e. directory) needs to be at the same level with the quarto document. However, can you attach a zip file (containing the directory structure that you are trying) here?
