Hi,

When I firstly ran hecatomb it failed at the beginning because it cannot find the --conda-frontend parameter that the pipeline required.

This issue could go away after I updated my conda version to conda 4.10.3.

Thanks!

Was this the conda build for Hecatomb, or when you pulled it from github?
The conda build will specify up to date versions of snakemake and mamba. I'm not sure how updating conda helped but it is also a good idea to keep conda up to date.

Hi Michael,

Thanks for reply!
I think this issue happened when I installed hecatomb from GitHub, not via conda. Since my own Conda was not up to date, so that caused the issue. It might be helpful to remind users of this when they want to try the GitHub installation.

That's good to know. The GitHub install is only intended for development purposes and we want to steer users away from manually installing from GitHub.
