Well, the Kinect V1 is actually pretty cheap, if you search well, you can get 4 of them for 70€ or less.
180° Tracking isent that nice, is there a Future in which K2VR will support using multiply Kinect V1 or V2 Trackers?

I know you are still working on Kinect support for the PS Move thingy, but my second Question would be if i could use the PS Move with multiply Kinect's, so that it tracks the Body and the Move at the same Time?

@DJPlaya DJPlaya changed the title Multiply Kinect's? Multiply Kinect's? And even with PS Move?! Jan 20, 2019

This would be a challenge that I think would be fun to muddle through. But the problem would be splicing all of the view angles into a coherent model. But this should only be a small problem I would need to extensively study the way that 3d tracking works in the first place because I am new to this topic. But on another note tracking with multiple Kinects has been done before in fact 3 Kinects https://youtu.be/8b8ajTuFU5U I'll shoot them an email and ask if I can have a copy of their code. Also as another example I hear that they also use multiple Kinects in blender to do positioning and tracking.

My Hope was to find an tracking System that is as good as the Vive Lighthouse but cheaper to make.
Combining Kinects or PS Eyes should be a good Solution, otherwise i would take a look at iPi Mocap.
iPi does Motion Capture with multiply Devices at once (Cams, Kinects, Wii Motes), even doe the Software is made for Animation, it could be possibly used for VR.

Have you ever received an answer regarding their code?
It would be really epic if you would manage to make it work roomscale!

also have a look at this perhaps

If it's any help you might want to look at the source code of this mocap project. It allows multiple Kinect v1s to be used simultaneously and automatically calibrates them.

Interesting I'll take a look at this but I have a feeling that it would end up being easier to start from scratch. But if I read the article correctly then all we will have to do is configure it to work with VR. Thank you very much for showing me this :-) you know what they say why do it if someone has done it better
