menu bar styling for smaller devices

• When the menu opening button is clicked the navigation bar appears abruptly in small (mobile) devices. I want to make it appear sliding from left or right and also having better styling.
• Also, when the navigation bar is open (for smaller devices) there should be a cross instead of the three lines (to close back the navigation bar)
