Panels reset after performing an activity when stretched

If panels, such as the property panel, are stretched beyond their original size, they reset to their original size after performing an activity. This behavior can be frustrating for configurators. The panels should retain the stretched size based on user adjustments and should only reset when the user manually resizes them back, similar to how table column configurations behave.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to any designer view
2. Click on a component
3. From your right hand side, stretch the properties panel
4. Update any property and observe the behaviour
5. Actual Results: The panel resets to it's original size

Expected behavior
