Decoupling: "When and why do REST services need to depend on shopinvader"

The aim is to discuss how to re-architecture the Shopinvader project to split into generic Odoo module and simplify as maximun the logic in the service. Also to simplify as maximal every dependency

Topic to discuss

• Clean dependency of locomotive. (split locomotive and not locomotive)
• auth partner
  -- keep the binding?
  -- how to authorize partners to purchase through a specific channel?
• split module
• be able to have V1 and V2
• simplify search engine (ex: [RFC] get rid of SE specific backend [RFC] get rid of SE specific backend OCA/search-engine#111)
• get rid of the controller fixed root

Sale Channel Project

A sale channel is a generic module that can be used by shopinvader, marketplace ...
Maybe we can extract module from here : https://github.com/akretion/sale-import

• sale_channel
• sale_channel_partner
• sale_channel_pricelist
• sale_channel_product (with restriction when you add a product to a sale so we can remove the logic in the service)
• sale_channel_notification (send transactional email, no need for queue.job)

Product Binding

• move to sale_channel_product

shopinvader.partner

We remove shopinvader.partner object
Cart service do not depend on it anymore
For special case we can still have a sale_channel_partner that add some additionnal rule (it's pure odoo backend side. Ex : sale_channel_partner_pricelist...)

Splitting module

• cart service : migration : https://github.com/acsone/odoo-shopinvader/tree/10.0-backport-with-new-cart-service

Export data to search engine and inheritance

• try to do a prototype with pydantic (or alternative solution, if it's not working) and if it's work we can remove crazy inherit on shopinvader.variant/shopinvader.product

Search Engine

• remove backend inheritance
• refactor search-engine base on jsonifier_store

In long term see for using the "dynamic mounting" of services

Wait for Simone work

Move into shopinvader_locomotive

• Session logic
• Cache logic

All new services will use pydantic

• the target is to have V16 with pydantic

Creating 14-experimental that will be the next 16.0 (with a .0)
