Why shopinvader is using rest-framework/base_rest module instead of rest-framework/fastapi?

Hi,

I was reading the docs and checking the main dependencies of shopinvader, the module rest-framework/base_rest I saw that it is going to be deprecated in favor of the new rest-framework/fastapi module.

It is something to take into account before start a new project?
