The last slide is not the last

Even after the last slide, the next event keeps incrementing the counter. Locally, I added the code below (from the prev event) to the event callback, and it solved my problem.

if (activeIndex === -1 || activeIndex === innerSteps.length) return;

But I didn't delve into the codebase, so maybe this solution is wrong.
