Entities shouldn't be clobbered when selected connection changes

Right now, when you change connections (i.e. choosing another tab), all of the existing data is discarded. This means that when switching back, state isn't preserved.

Ideally, this shouldn't happen. Entities need to be preserved in some sort of reducer that is keyed on a specific connection.
