Description

The editor should autosave the posts that are being edited.

• Show a sentence saying that saving is in progress (like in google docs when you edit)
• When the file is saving trying to close the page should show a window confirm telling the user that if they close the page they will lose the data (see google doc too I think)
• Save function should be throttled for max performance

To discuss:

• Should auto save be done only for drafts or also for published posts?

How Medium is handling it:
It seems like Medium is saving a cache
so when it is published the autosave is working differently
It does not save the published story, it is just saving the file in cache in the editor
You need to click on "save and publish" button to update your story
