Bug Description

After upgrading Signal Desktop IM clien tto the newest 1.25.3 version I am unable to send images and gifs successfully. Sending fails when attempting to copy/past images or Gifs, or upload images/Gifs from a local file.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Copy a google image-search image
  2. Paste copied image into Signal Desktop send field
  3. Send

Actual Result:

Receive Send Failed message when attempting to send images or GIFs

Expected Result:

When copy/pasting, or uploading images from a local file to Signal Desktop submission should not fail upon sending.

You're having proxy problems. We're unable to connect to https://updates2.signal.org and https://cdn.signal.org and get the Signal certificates we expect. It almost looks like our primary service URL (https://textsecure-service.whispersystems.org) has been special-cased on your network, but these other URLs have not.
