Paste from clipboard does not work for mime type image/png

Most of the time it's possible to upload screenshots. But sometimes I've encountered that it's not possible but only for a short while.

Steps to reproduce:

• In mate-screenshot --interactive : 1) Take a screenshot -- it will generate a png file. 2) Copy the screenshot to clipboard
• Click on the Message field in Signal
• Press Ctrl+V
• The uploaded file is 0 bytes

Hi @davidhedlund, sorry this is happening for you. I've tried it on my Debian/Wayland/Gnome and Ubuntu/X11/Gnome but haven't been able to repro it. Can you share more info about your setup? such as distro and window manager details. This will help us to debug the problem.

This happened to me the first time a few months ago, and then it happened again when I submitted this issue. So I've experienced it at least two times with long intervals.

• Method used to generate screenshot (Example: Gnome's "Take a Screenshot" app)
