osx desktop app doesn't say person disabled disappearing messages but ios does

• I am using Signal-Desktop as provided by the Signal team, not a 3rd-party package.

Overall summary

person messaged me it seems their safety number changed and they disabled disappearing messages. desktop app did not say person disabled disappearing messages only the ios app did

Steps to reproduce

person messages you changing safety number and disables disappearing messages

Expected result

osx app should also say person disabled disappearing messages like the ios app

Actual result

osx app doesn't say person disabled disappearing messages
