Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

This isn't a feature request so much as a request for the docs to be updated on this page: https://silentvoid13.github.io/Templater/faq.html

The reason is because I've actually thought for several months that this would be the right plugin for the tool based on vaguely reading some comments about it and seeing it recommended a lot. I'm sure others have this problem too. So it would be nice to just make a note about it in your docs to save people confusion.

I think it would be great if there was something like:

How can I use last_modified_date?
Answer:
There are some known issues (#1015, #910, #913) with dynamic commands. We recommend using the Linter plugin instead for setting created/modified dates in frontmatter.

However, you should know that uses the time the file was modified according to the filesystem, not the time it was modified according to when you edited it in obsidian so if another program edits it then the updated time will change.

If you want it to only change the updated time when you update in obsidian you should try this one:
https://obsidian.md/plugins?id=frontmatter-modified-date
